Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that causes red, scaly patches and may affect nails, scalp, or joints. While there’s no cure, effective treatments can reduce symptoms, improve skin appearance, and prevent flare-ups.
Understanding Psoriasis
Advanced Psoriasis Treatments We Offer
We use advanced facials, laser, and light therapies to clear breakouts, reduce scars, and restore healthy, radiant skin.
Creams and ointments such as corticosteroids, vitamin D analogues, salicylic acid, and moisturizers help reduce scaling, inflammation, and itching. Often the first step for mild psoriasis.
Specialized light treatments, such as Narrowband UVB or PUVA, slow down skin cell growth, reduce scaling, and improve plaques. Delivered safely in a dermatology clinic.
Oral medications like methotrexate, acitretin, or ciclosporin are used for moderate-to-severe psoriasis. These treatments require monitoring but can provide strong long-term control.
Modern biologic injections target specific immune pathways (IL-17, IL-23, TNF). Highly effective for severe or resistant psoriasis, improving both skin and quality of life.
Managing psoriasis also means caring for overall health. We help with stress reduction, managing comorbidities (like arthritis and diabetes), and building healthy lifestyle habits.
Comprehensive Psoriasis Care
At Campbell Dermatology & Aesthetics, we view psoriasis as more than a skin disorder. We take a whole-body approach, combining advanced therapies with education and lifestyle support to improve both skin health and overall well-being.
“We don’t just treat psoriasis. We partner with you for lifelong skin health.”

I make an annual appointment for skin check and removals as needed. Dr Campbell always greets me with a smile, listens and answers my questions. Her MA is also nice and assists as needed. The office is comforting and clean. I like the music they play in the office and exams rooms, it’s relaxing.

Everyone has been really good to me. I would highly recommend Dr Campbell to everyone. I tell all my friends how she found my melanoma when I never saw it. Plus it didn’t bother me. I really appreciate her.
